I hail from both sides of the Quad Cities and will always be a river person at heart.
My scholarly interests include copyright, intellectual property, remix culture, computers and writing, Internet studies, textual studies, and the personal essay.
I also love writing, playing, and listening to music. I watch baseball and professional football but prefer to run for exercise. I do not believe in “guilty pleasures” so parts of my record collection would be embarassing for some people.
I want a dog when I grow up.
